Hi, I’m Reiann, your friendly local pet person!
I’m an experienced pet care professional based in Portland, and I love getting to know the wonderful pets and people in my local community. I take a relationship-focused approach to pet care, and over the years, I’ve had the chance to build some really meaningful relationships with both the humans and animals I work with.
What’s unique about the care I provide is that I take the time to learn what works for you and your pet. Every animal is different, and I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to pet care. It’s also just not in my nature! I like getting to know each pet’s personality, routines, quirks, and preferences so I can provide care that feels right for them.
Whether you’re in need of last minute care, weekly dog walks, drop-in visits, or overnight care while you’re out of town, I’m here to lend a helping hand!

I want you to feel confident that your pets are in good hands, which is why I put a lot of value on open communication and getting to know you and your pets.
I’m always happy to answer questions, whether you’ve already worked with me or you’re just starting your search for a pet sitter. Before scheduling a visit with a new client, I offer a complimentary meet & greet so we can get to know each other, make sure we’re a good fit, and go over everything I’ll need to know to care for your pets.
I also send updates and photos during scheduled visits, so you know I’ve arrived, can see how things are going, and can feel more connected while you’re away.

I’ve been working in pet care professionally for 5+ years, and have been the trusted pet sitter for friends, family, and neighbors for a long time before that. When I started Reiann’s Reliable Pet Care, I knew I wanted to focus on my local community.
I walk the streets of Laurelhurst, North Tabor, and Hollywood every day and I encounter so many amazing (and adorable!) pets on each block. By focusing on local pets, I have the opportunity to build connections with my neighbors, as well as offer added convenience and peace of mind for the owners I work with. Being nearby really comes in handy when something comes up unexpectedly and last minute care is needed. It can be helpful to have someone in the neighborhood to help with an extra walk, check in, or any other pet care needs. When you work with me, my hope is that you feel like you’re calling on a trusted neighbor.
