I grew up in Southern California (I know, I know 😅), but Portland has been home for most of my adult life and I consider it “home”. Funnily enough, I grew up with basically every type of pet except a dog, including guinea pigs, rabbits, and birds. I’ve always loved animals and consider myself very fortunate being able to work with them. When I first offering pet care, it was primarily for friends, family, and neighbors, simply because it was something I enjoyed. Eventually, I had built up a reliable community of pet owners who would ask to work with me regularly.

Before focusing on pet care full time, I worked primarily in early childhood education. Patience, attentiveness, and reliability were all key strengths in those roles which I also find incredibly helpful when providing care to animals. One pet peeve (pun intended) of mine is when you seeing people trying to provide a one-size-fits-all approach to care. Whether you’re a parent or a pet parent, you know how unique each individual is, which is why I’m determined to provide a better experience than what I saw available.

Portland has so much to offer, and I especially love that I landed in the neighborhood that I did. It feels likeenjoy simple pleasures like walking through Laurelhurst Park, watching the hummingbirds outside my window, and the people. I feel like I love everything that Portland has to offer is you get the amazing food and culture, but the people and nature are what I appreciate the most.

Pet care feels like a natural extension of who I am, and my goal is always to provide thoughtful, consistent care you can feel confident in.
